Institute Programs, Fiscal Management and Operation


The operation and programs of the Mattie Kelly Cultural and Environmental Institute shall seek to develop collaborative initiatives with local, state, regional and national groups, organizations, educational institutions as well as state and national governmental agencies to achieve the goals and objectives.

Conferences and Seminars

  • Mattie Kelly Symposium on Choctawhatchee Bay
  • Mattie Kelly Show Choir Competition

Exhibitions and Displays

  • Mattie Kelly Sculpture and Art Acquisition
  • Demonstrations and exhibits by local/regional artisans of cultural heritage of Northwest Florida
  • Collaborate with the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation on mutually beneficial exhibits and events

Fiscal Management & Operation

The Mattie Kelly Cultural and Environmental Institute is managed through the Northwest Florida State College Foundation and administers its programs through the college. The college provides administrative support and services of the Mattie Kelly Arts Center at Northwest Florida State College.
